Hello to everyone! Hope you are all doing great 🙂
Now, I have talked about Arbonne in some of my previous blogs, but, for this blog I want to discuss in detail their Smoothed-Over Lipsticks. I will mention again that Arbonne is a botanically based skincare and makeup company with an amazing range of products.
Arbonne’s Cosmetics aim for simplicity, along with bringing out your confidence and radiance within. Their cosmetics are formulated without gluten. Some of their key botanicals include:
- Marrubium Vulgare Extract: this is a member of the mint family and acts as a skin conditioner
- Buddleja Davidii Extract: this is a flowering plant and acts as a moisturiser
- Scutellaria Alpina Extract: this is a flower/leaf/stem extract and also acts as a skin conditioner
Price: Arbonne lipsticks are $41 AUD each
There are 16 available shades of the Smoothed Over Lipsticks. They are long wearing, smooth and are such beautiful colours! I find these lipsticks soft and easy to apply, my lips look plumper and glossier. Additionally, they are of high pigmentation, therefore the colour lasts a long time for me!
Key ingredients include watermelon extract, apple extract and meadow foam seed oil. You have no idea how amazing these lipsticks smell, so divine that I just want to eat them! Arbonne’s lipsticks also contain Hyaluronic Acid to provide long lasting hydration, reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles (We can get wrinkles on our lips too!)
Interesting facts: Leontopodium Alpinum extract from the edelweiss plant soothes dehydrated lips with moisturising properties. Additionally, Polymers provide a moisturising hydro-lipid layer that helps colour pigments disperse evenly for longer wear.
I have 7 shades of the Smooth Over Lipsticks which are:
Magnolia- Light Nude
Willow- Medium Nude
Dahlia- Darker Nude
Camellia- Softer pink, has a purple tone to it
Guava- Bright pink
Poppy- Soft red, with an orange tone
Currant- Darker red
Additionally, I have lipliners ($34 AUD) in shades Tulip, Peach and Fuchsia. You don’t need a lipliner if you don’t want to, but personally for me I prefer using a lipliner beforehand to ensure my application is neat.
Overall, I believe Arbonnes Smooth Over Lipsticks are magnificent. I recommend for everybody out there to try something out from Arbonnes range, as you truly won’t be disappointed.
Thank-you for reading and talk again until next time!
