Words cannot fathom how much I love Nyx. From the quality of their innovative products, to their packaging, to their diverse range and last but not least, to their incredibly affordable prices. Nyx is 10/10!
Their Butter Gloss range is beyond divine. I’ll mention now that they have two ranges which is the original ‘Butter Gloss’ and then ‘Intense Butter Gloss’. Where do I begin to explain how amazing these glosses are? Well, the quality is amazing for the price, they smell delicious, the applicator tips are easy to use, the packaging is very cute and no stickiness either! You don’t even need a lip liner with these glosses, they are so amazingly pigmented and beautiful on their own.
I will discuss with you all each gloss I have first starting with:
Butter Gloss ($9.95 AUD each)
These glosses provide a medium coverage and wow do they smell good, I just want to eat it! When you apply, the formula feels lightweight yet has such a good colour payoff.
There are 34 shades available within this range and I have shades:
- Eclair – Pink Shade
- Peaches and Cream – Pink Coral Shade
- Apple Strudel – Peach Shade
- Cherry Pie – Red Shade
From bottom to top: Eclair, Peaches and Cream, Apple Strudel, Cherry Pie
Intense Butter Gloss ($12.95 AUD each)
The pigmentation is next level for these glosses! No need to double dip because the colours are super bright. The glosses for this range still have that beautiful, silky feeling as the butter glosses, but just feel somewhat thicker.
Within this range there are 24 shades available and I have shades:
- Napoleon – Bright Tea Rose Pink Shade
- Chocolate Crepe – Deep Beige Shade
- Sorbet – Baby Pink Shade
- Tres Leches – Nude Shade
From bottom to top: Napoleon, Chocolate Crepe, Sorbet, Tres Leches
Overall, my only recommendation is to give your lips a good exfoliation before using these glosses so they don’t feel or appear dry. Since Nyx is now available at Priceline, are you a going to give these glosses a try?
