Dermablend Cover Creme

Have you ever had a bad breakout day and cannot find that perfect foundation or concealer to hide those ghastly blemishes?  We all have had many of these moments.’Cover CremeCover Creme‘ by Dermablend provides full face coverage for those days! This foundation provides camouflage to cover birthmarks, bruising, burns, hyper pigmentation, lupus, scars and vitiligo.

Price: $56.95 AUD each

First Impression: For me, this foundation is much thicker than I am used to. But in all honesty when I have bad breakout days, I reach for this product as it truly hides them all away!  A little goes a long way, so ensure not to use a lot otherwise it will appear too heavy and caky. The best way to use is firstly apply to your fingers and rub the formula to heat and then apply to your face. By using this technique it simplifies the application process by gliding on and blending well with a soft texture. Afterwards, use a setting powder for it to last throughout the day. Although I do admit, it can take a lot longer to apply than pump foundations. So it may not be the best product to use if you are in a hurry. But… You could even use it just as a concealer if you would prefer to!

A bonus is it contains SPF 30, which is great to protect the skin from UV rays. Additionally, Cover Creme is absolutley perfect for sensitive skin as it is fragrance free. A downfall I will bring into consideration, the product itself is quite expensive considering some high end foundations are cheaper.

What I have is the cover creme bundle which are sample sets of a variety of shades. Overall, there are 21 shades available for each skin tone.

Shades included in this set are:

  • Pale Ivory
  • Warm Ivory
  • Rose Beige
  • Almond Beige
  • True Beige
  • Natural Beige
  • Warm Beige
  • Medium Beige
  • Caramel Beige
  • Cafe Brown

Here are swatches of all the shades provided below 🙂

When it comes to foundations, it is always trial and error. No matter what the foundation is being drugstore or high end, it truly depends on your skin type and whether your skin will agree to the foundation. WE ALL KNOW how difficult it is to find those perfect foundations. I really hope this blog has been of some help and if you want to know what some of my favourite foundations I like to use everyday just let me know 🙂

Keep smiling bella’s
