Managing frizzy hair

On top of everything else us women have to maintain and deal with, yes hair frizziness is beyond a pain. Unfortunately we don’t live in the 80s, and it’s not rather fashionable anymore. Darn! Why do we get frizzy hair? There are many reasons that contribute as to why we get frizzy hair. Frizzy hair is actually from the result of dehydrated hair, the moisture passes through the hair cuticle and becomes raised.

Here are some of the causes of frizzy hair: (You won’t like them)

• You aren’t drinking enough water
• Unbalanced diet
• Bleaching your hair can dry and damage the hair cuticles
• Certain shampoos can dry your hair
• If you have curly hair (If I ever brush my curls out, it instantly gives me frizzy hair)
• The weather!

This product helps to reduce frizz and replace natural oils. It does this by camouflaging and smoothing raised hair cuticles to restore moisture and create a silkier appearance. It actually contains a UV filter as well which is great to protect your hair from UV rays and sun exposure! I find the formula very creamy in texture, so only apply a small amount into the palms of your hand and run your fingers into your hair. Also, only apply this creme to dry hair. Overall, I’m very impressed with this product as use it on the run when my hair is looking fiercely frizzy!

 

Forever Smooth Anti-Frizz Primer

Price: $16.99 AUD

This product helps to strengthen and restructure your hair cuticles. It contains coconut oil to improve texture, moisture an provide heat protection. So basically this product is a base to use when your hair is wet, so then once your hair has dried it eliminates that frizziness. This formula is more light-weight and absorbs much quicker than the Finishing Creme. You only need to use 1 pump of this product and run your fingers through your hair with the product. Like I said, apply this product only to wet hair and do not rinse out. I find this anti-frizz primer absolutely perfect for me to use as I have thick, wavy hair. When my hair dries, I see no frizz! Happy days 🙂
